#sparkchamber 042621 — Heidi Rose Robbins
We give this moment to take a breath and absorb energy from the universe as #sparkchamber connects with Heidi Rose Robbins, an inspirational speaker, esoteric astrologer, poet, teacher, and host of the podcast The Radiance Project.
Raised by an astrologer father and architect mother, she grew up in Fargo, North Dakota — in a bright green house! In the first 25 years of her life, she wanted to act. She studied theater, and after school, acted, directed and wrote. But soon, astrology started whispering in her ear … and she heeded the call. With her father as teacher, Heidi immediately recognized astrology as an instrument for compassion and self-discovery — a beautiful tool for understanding our life journeys.
In her astrological practice, Heidi has supported many men and women through major life transitions, spiritual crises and growth opportunities. At her twice-yearly Radiant Life Retreats, Heidi takes this a step further and creates fertile ground for personal breakthroughs in a loving, supportive group environment which has helped many attendees live fuller, more expressive and courageously loving lives.
Poetry is also a big part of Heidi’s life. “Poets are my teachers. Poets accompany me through trouble and complete joy. I see both poetry and astrology as ways to explore our soul selves. I call myself a poet with the Map of the Heavens in my pocket.“ Her poems beckon us to feel more, express authentically and freely follow our fiery hearts.
Always happiest when she is writing poetry, Heidi is also a writer of books — she wrote a series of astrological love letters, one for each sign of the zodiac — and offers daily moon notes on both her website and Instagram.
1.] Where do ideas come from?
Silence, Fullness, Rest, Willingness, Spaciousness, the Universal Mind and Heart
2.] What is the itch you are scratching?
How to live in greater and greater circles of freedom.
3.] Early bird or night owl? Tortoise or hare?
I am a bright, early, dawn girl. I get the most interesting work done in solitude and when I have great stretches of unplanned time. I love a great solo retreat. I love to walk and listen. Sometimes, when I am working on a big project, I leap in and bust it out. I love building community and sharing with community so I get excited when a project is almost complete and I can send it out into the world. I am the tortoise and then hare. I have a great capacity for consistency — showing up day after day — as a practice. But I also LOVE to LEAP.
4.] How do you know when you are done?
My whole body exhales.
